First strike in surprise round issue
I think this is a balancing issue. If you get your "stealth action" out with all 4 characters AND get a surprise round, combat would be completely trivialized by stealth. RAW 5e also suggests that the way Solasta (tries to) handle stealth at the start of combat is correct. At the table, your DM would adjudicate which action causes the combatants to roll initiative (basically the first aggressive act). Then, everyone who was unaware of...

movement around the character does not cause opportunity attack
Things get weird once you factor in weapons with reach, which Solasta thus far does not have I think? Lots of newer players that I've played 5e with get frustrated when they find out that wielding a glaive that can reach up to 10 feet does indeed create a box of 10 feet around their character in which enemies can move freely without provoking attacks of opportunity.

Goodberry Bug
Goodberry does indeed count as a food ration. But there's a problem with that spell where the berries don't disappear from your inventory while you are traveling. So you can use a couple of spell slots in Caer Cyflen and never have to worry about rations. I would love some additional functionality for overland travel. For example, we need the option to change our travel destination mid-travel. In my most recent playthrough, I forgot to...

Could be something for the planned higher difficulty settings? Something along the lines of how heroic adventuring (easy mode) and gritty realism (hard mode) are laid out in the DMG? I personally don't have any problems with my party healing to full after a long rest. It's D&D after all. If you start with immersion and realism and go further down that rabbit hole, you start to wonder why armor makes you harder to hit...
