[feat] apply "Take Aim" to ranged spell attacks too
Those are all fair points. There are plenty of great ways to build and play all of the classes, which is one of the things I love about the DnD rule set. As I said up front, my preference that Take Aim would apply to all ranged attack rolls (weapons or spells) is simply this one player’s subjective opinion. I appreciate hearing that you prefer the feat as-is and your reasons why… it’s always great...

Party Builds, what are your favorite party combos?
One more thing that comes to mind: Don't over-value melee! If you can make the enemies walk through your AoEs like Wall of Fire, Spike Growth, Grease etc, then the often can't hurt you much. So you won't always need a tank and this tactics means that your melees will not get to melee a whole lot. Absolutely agree. I recently finished a play-through with a Dex-based Paladin (Halfling), Open Hand Monk (Human), Tree Warlock...

Negating disadvantage on ranged attack rolls is already very powerful. Providing advantage would unbalance play. I join Llacote in disagreeing with Thaladar's suggestion. I'm not sure it's really necessary to apply it ["Take Aim"] to ranged spell attacks, "Necessary" seems like a...

[bug] Monk attacks by default with main action after an Open Hand Technique is selected
Hi Llacote –– Happy new year. I understand the RAW, although I do appreciate you pointing it out. To clarify, I'm talking about a user experience (UX) software issue, not a game mechanic or rules issue. I will try to explain my point a different way... From a UX perspective, here is how things are supposed to work: A Character is a wizard with a quarterstaff. By clicking the various Action menus, the Player informs...
