My 4 all human bois fighter party "Hardheads"
Lol. This seems like nearly literally the worst possible party you could build in EA (mechanically speaking), and you made it work and had fun. Good on you! I could never bring myself to assemble a team with this many disadvantages. Thanks for the great read!

Playing characters with Maximum stats
My current playthrough I went with homebrew stat array recommended by the Dungeon Dudes: 17, 15, 13, 12, 10, 8. It’s slightly more generous than standard array, but didn’t actually seem crazy OP like I was thinking it might (it actually resulted in cutting CON for most my team of hybrids because I usually put CON at 14 on point-buy). I think next run, I’m going to work out what point-buy those stats are equivalent...

V 0.4.21 full scenario bug report
The tower where you find the crown? That's a pain. You need to use spider climb to get on the side of the wall -- get to the top of the arch, move down, interrupt movement by selecting a space near chest. Then you are in range for misty step. Good loot but nothing needed for recipe. It's reachable just with Misty Step. https://www.twitch.tv/filthyrobot/clip/GleamingHandsomeAlmondMcaT Oh wow. That is not the least bit intuitive. They they...

Linearality after meeting woman in monastery is damn annoying.
Hopefully, when the game is finally implemented, they will allow the ability to head back to town. It would be nice to optimize the party (gear/items) at that point, but I understand the need for the mechanic at the moment. I actually don’t understand the need for the mechanic, to be honest. Because you can clear the area (love the minotaur!) and go back to town for a quick lot dump, scavenger dividend collection, faction...

Why do I like Solasta so much more than BG3?
I like them both, as well. BG3 has advantages in variety (both narrative and build selection) and quality of art/sound. Larian clearly has a larger production budget, and it shows. They also have access to published source material, so they can actually use things (classes, subclasses, settings) that TA can’t. TA has totally crushed Larian in terms of UI/usability and faithfulness to the 5e rule set. As an example, in BG3, Eldritch Knight is available,...
