Can't Start a New Adventure
I wasn't able to resolve the video issue, however...I did press "Esc" this time while on the above-mentioned screen and was able to move past the intro video. I guess that is a workaround for now. I did a test with a small .mp4 but there was no change in outcome. I didn't change my video codec. I am up to date on Windows Updates.
