Solasta is a fun game that suffers from being launched too early.
In fairness to TA, the pending Sorcerer DLC is going to be free. As such, other than hype, it is unlikely to generate much in the way of additional funds for the developer. However, I too am surprised by the limited interaction by the developer on their own forums. While TA is small and is obviously prioritizing work on the game, for a relatively small community, like the one that has coalesced around Solasta, developer...

Did I miss something? Return to Manacalon Ruin.. Return to Council
I rather think that this meaningless side trip is a result of cut content. There was probably a planned encounter (add-on area) that was simply removed from the game due to time/resource constraints. The same is true of two minor quests involving spectral servants in Zhoron's mansion (Zhoron being the Master of Conjuration as well as a Green Dragon). In fact, the final portion of the game is almost completely on rails. Unfortunately, both the...

Green Dragon?
"Is there any possibility to not trigger the "Thief accusation" by the dragon? " Yes, follow the spectral servant without going into the optional areas and you won't be called a thief. Then again, Solasta is a murder hobo game and not looting the valuables from the Master of Conjuration's estate changes nothing whatsoever in terms of how the quest ends.

Random Encounter - Initial impressions from release (Updated for Primal Calling)
Agree about the unbalanced nature of the random four Crimson Spider surprise rest encounter (with three party members asleep by default). Especially as the spiders are coded to knock out the primary melee threat first. Between starting the spiders off with a free round (of potentially three attacks each) having three party members sleeping (and thus prone for advantaged attacks against) this encounter is a recipe for TPK even for level 10 parties. The orc/ogre...

Try-before-buy or demo starter?
The game is on sale for $31.99 during the Steam Summer Sale. While I understand that such a sum maybe a significant sum for some, it is hardly a premium price for a newly released game. As a footnote, it is worth noting that while I rate Solasta as enjoyable and its developer worthy of support, the game does currently suffer from a number of annoying bugs.
