Graphic errors and complete freeze after loading [MacOS Monterey]
Hey there, Eric - Can you post your HW config from About This Mac? For example, this is my info: Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro18,2 Chip: Apple M1 Max Total Number of Cores: 10 (8 performance and 2 efficiency) Memory: 32 GB I am running MacOS Monterey (12.0.1) and I find I hit a consistent 55-65 fps with Graphics settings at Ultra without issue. While this is on M1 Apple silicon, I was...

Constant crashes on Mac -- workaround found
Glad the advice helped! I finally got my new MBP M1 Max in - running Solasta through Rosetta2 at Ultra quality (including Volumetric Lighting Quality at High!) - I get between 55-65 fps under Monterey (MacOS 12.0.1). Remarkably pleased with the results, I am. :D If you're on M1 Apple silicon, I recommend upgrading to Monterey. Macbook crash in loading screen
Hey there, Folks - Can you post your HW like OP exodas did? I'm curious as to the specific Mac HW configurations people are using. While I've got a new MBP on the way, I am currently running Solasta on the following (very outdated Mac from mid-2014!): Model Name: MacBook Pro Model Identifier: MacBookPro11,3 Processor Name: Quad-Core Intel Core i7 Processor Speed: 2.8 GHz Number of Processors: 1 Total Number of Cores: 4 L2 Cache...

Mac version very slow
I'm running Solasta - pretty slowly but fast enough to enjoy - on a 7 year-old 15" MBP (running Big Sur OSX 11) and I found the latest public beta version 1.2.10w to be more stable than the current release. YMMV but I can play reasonably well on an Apple 24" LED display at 1920x1200 provided I turn pretty much all of the advanced graphics features - no AA, no VSYNC, no Depth of Field,...

Mac version very slow
I am also in the minority on a Mac - while slow, and occasionally I can't get the game to load - I've found the following helps: If you get sync issues / image tearing when loading a game - quit the game, restart the game and at the main screen, select Settings and select the lowest resolution possible; for me, that's 1280x800 (I'm playing on a 15" MBP and using an external 24" Apple...
