Proposing a “Shield Strike” Feat
This proposal was included in the Unfinished Business mod as a fighting style rather than a feat, and it’s okay. They give shields 1d4 damage without modifiers when used in either hand. The only class I would use it with is the modded version of artificer, since you up the damage by increasing your shield’s ac with infusions. Rangers use divine magic in DnD, not Arcane. So why can't they use the holy symbol as a channel?
If you read all of that in my last post, then you might also be interested in my current headcannon for the relationship between faith and conviction. Gods reward some of the faithful with magic, but they themselves draw on mortal conviction for their power, even though mortal conviction is not just used on behalf of the gods. It's sort of like oxygen and the carbon cycle. Conviction can be converted to faith and then...

I understand why now. Is there really no chance of seeing the Artificer class (or a sub) introduced because of licensing?
I don't think there is any chance as TA have said they are not doing any more development for Solasta and are moving onto their next project. However, you could look at the Unfinished Business mod as this includes a ton of sub classes. Thank you for this! I tried to only download the "Tinkerer" mod and the mod manager. Didn't work, so I gave up. Ended up downloading UB, and it's really impressive. Just...
