Many Vendors will not provide any monetary value for equipment, especially the ORCs
Yeah I found this as well, it seems the more favour you have with a faction the less they pay for your items. Pretty sure it's a bug as my 6k magic item should be worth more that 100g. Especially when the general goods vendor buys it off me for 600g
