Hey there! Grappling will not be included in Solasta - at least not for the player (some monsters may still have grapple attacks). Although we'd have loved to include grappling, there are many reasons for that - an important one being animation for instance. Grappling a wolf, another humanoid or an ogre would need a lot of different animations, which are very costly in time - which is already used animating more monsters or weapon...
You have to keep in mind that Solasta's ruleset is based on SRD 5.1, so prestige classes simply don't exist. For release we've planned 3 archetypes per class available (6 at launch), but more may be added later in DLCs (no promise though).
Well, Joran, for skill checks like Nature, only the most proficient character makes the check, otherwise the odds to success are too high. Regarding feats, we will have a set of our own that will not match those in the official books. Best, Zaz
Hello Joran, Right now we're focusing on dialog related skills, yes, including insight and languages, to some extent. Using a skill like medecine would trigger much more than dialog, it's basically gameplay. Same for something like Thaumaturgy, you'd have to manage all character who can die and provide a possible dialog that would take place only if the player uses the spell, so it's a lot of effort for potentially little benefit.
