Xbox Game Pass: Initial Load hangs at ~90%

I installed the game through Xbox Game Pass and then ran it. It gets to about 90% and then stays there. I've waited > 20 minutes with nothing happening.

I see the initial background image, the loading bar, and the spinner, but that's it.

Is there any way to fix this? Because it's game pass, I can't get to the files to delete or rename anything.

Yeah i have the same problem, i reinstalled it multiple times too

and tried all the things suggested in the other 'loading screen issue' - threads

but nothing works :(( ... i would really love to play it.
