My cleric is unable to create a scroll of cure wounds despite having all the ingredients and meeting any/all prerequisites. It thinks he does not have cure wounds prepared even though he does.

I have had the same thing on one run-through with crafting healing potions. This seems to have been because I didn't have a wizard on that runthrough (on previous runthroughs the wizard seems to have started with crafting instructions for healing potions) so I had to buy the crafting instructions from the magic bod in the marketplace. When I try to craft the potion it thinks that my cleric doesn't have the 'cure wounds' spell, even though he does. However, if I swap to my paladin then she does have the 'cure wounds' spell, it says, although she doesn't know how to make potions so that doesn't directly help.

So my guess is that there are two spells both called 'cure wounds' - one for clerics and one for paladins - and that the crafting instructions sold in the marketplace reference the wrong one, whereas the instructions that wizards start with are correct.

I assume this is a bug.  I have a Sun domain cleric who can create Burning Hands scrolls, but then can't cast the scrolls she has made.  (even though she can cast the Burning Hands spell)

Does aura of protection for paladin give only +2 bonus to saving throws. From the description, it shall base on charisma modifier and my paladin have +5 charisma modifier

I could not use fly to cross a barrier in gem stones monastery that other characters easily could jump. Please fix as fly is needed for some characters such as my dwarf cleric to get out of  sunken areas that they could climb or jump into but not out of. Thank you. This is a great game!

I have also encountered the situation where I defeat the four spectral guardians and immediately am teleported (before being able to loot the room) to a dialogue scene with the dragon.  It is a quick discussion (two sentences) and then my characters are just stuck in the scene...the four of them just staring out at me like "what now"?

Any chance there is a fix for this bug?  I understand this is near the end of the winter content but I also understand that this is supposed to be the big final fight and I sure would like to fight it.  Just curious.

This was a week ago so you have probably either given up or found out by now, but for anyone else who hits this: the way I found around it is to reload then skip the laboratory room for now and explore the rest of the level. Once you have met the dragon in its proper context then the room is safe to explore (and loot, of course). Plus you get some interesting story context to whet your appetite for the next instalment.

Thanks for this advice, I have this bug too and will try this to get around it!

Update - how do you move forward in this area without going into the library? I have looked into every corner that I can access, and even when I look up "tutorials" for this area it just says to aggro the ghosts "although the game might bug after that". So might you have some pointers on how to get to the dragon? Thanks!

Firstly I love this game, a true dnd turnbased RPG. I'm sure I'm about to repeat some points but there are too many posts to read through. Also warning of spoilers.

In no particular order the bugs I've encountered are:

1. Characters using wrong animations for attacks. I.e using a sword to fire arrows.

2. Not being able to target the window shutters in bone castle.

3. When a character is dead scrolls of revivy or the crown dont seem to work at all.

4. Character models holding scimitar wrong way round.

5. Visual bugs where vampire is in light but I'm told they are in darkness.

6. I've had whole battles where the enemies did nothing for 4 or 5 rounds.

7. Not sure if a bug or misread by me but vampire doesn't seem to count as favoured enemy undead. Should it?

8. Raw: I think that if I start a round hidden moving into los shouldn't make me lose my advantage when using my rouge.

9. I think there should be an option  to select the cantrip that has been readied. A few times its selected sacred flame when I would of preferred to use shocking grasp.

10. Again, I'd like the option to dicate when the readied range attack goes off. A few times I missed out on sneak damage as my rouge fired too early.

11. I have no option for using ritual spells, specifically identify. This is on my arcane rouge so I end up wasting spell slots which I should be saving.

12.also the character portraits are often wrong.

Again these are critics to help better an already awesome game. Good work, looking forward to full release.

Haven't seen this mentioned in the thread: I've encountered an issue when trying to turn in the "Convey the scavenger's message" quest. When I speak to Annie after returning, I'm only allowed to say "let's talk business" at which point it brings up the scavengers' loot screen, and then the dialogue ends. I can't tell her about Henrik. I can come back later and try again of course, but this is probably worth fixing at some point :)

As others have said - great game! Absolutely love it so far, thanks for all your hard work!

Edit: tried later, no dice. Just basic dialogue. She still has an exclamation point, and I still have the quest open, but I can't tell her about Henrik.

OK, tried what someone suggested about a plant - there are no plants near that door. All doors are currently unlocked, except for the two ends, one of which has a magical barrier. The non-barrier'ed door says "There is no visible lock. This door cannot be opened from here." I have looked in every available room to find a lever or anything like that, and have not found anything. The only room that's open that I haven't explored, is the ghost room, which is where I presumed the "switch" would be to open that door, since it was the last place remaining. But I can't go in there because the ghosts just aggro and bug my game out. Image of Door

SPOILERS AHEAD:

Edit for anyone having this problem: it's in the STATUE, not the plant :') You can see it in the image, on the left, in his hand.

Still bugged in patch 0.4.21, as is the crafting formula for the healing potion. The latter used to work with the crafting book that elven wizards start with but seemingly no longer. This makes adventuring with a strength-based party even harder than it already was.

EDIT: Not quite so simple, it seems. If I create my own characters crafting for both cure wounds scrolls and potions is still bugged. If I use the pre-rolled ones the cleric has the crafting book for the cure wounds scroll and that works fine. However the wizard no longer has any crafting books, nor the scroll and potion kits, but once they have been bought then they all seem to work fine for the pre-rolled party. I'll continue to experiment.

EDIT2: Sigh! This seems to be working now. A quick timeline in case it helps anyone: when I loaded up in v0.4.21 I started a new adventure with my existing characters and Cure Wounds wasn't available. So I tried creating four new characters and started a new adventure with them - crafting Cure Wounds scrolls and potions still didn't work, not even for a paladin. So I deleted all my old characters and tried with the pre-rolled ones - the Cure Wounds scroll crafting now worked; the pre-rolled wizard didn't have the crafting books any more, but when I bought them they now worked. So I created four new characters and started a new adventure with them, choosing the backgrounds which gave my spell users the best potion and scroll kits - crafting of cure wounds thiings now works perfectly: even my Paladin can create healing potions. So maybe the answer is that you have to delete all your personal characters from previous versions before starting again from scratch? Or maybe it's to do with backgrounds - I don't know. Anyway, crafting is now working for me again - my party thanks you.

There's a quest to speak with master dackin after bringing the head of the sorr-akkath to the council, but I can't interact with him with any of my characters. I started a new game after the most recent patch. Also, I was able to teleport from the same area to get the necromantic gem and a couple of other places that I shouldn't have been able to access yet.
