Hey! I am from the Philippines  and I love your game

This game is a lot more like D&D 5e than the game designed for D&D 5e

I just wanted to say Good job!!

I could just imagine the beauty you would have created (not Solasta is not amazing because it is) if you had the funds of those large game developers

Just an older gamer here getting back into gaming. Originally an old school D&D player. So, being apart of the early access has bought back some fond memories.

I must say that english is a very difficult language  to learn and master with all of it's grammar rules not to mention  homonyms, etc.

Hi, new player here. Is there a roadmap of future releases available somewhere ?

Also, how do you change your avatar in the forum ?

Is there a forum dedicated to game performance? If there is not, there should be.

I bought the game on the day it appeared on Steam. Played for some 25 hours and decided that it was pretty good, despite the cut scenes being annoyingly simplistic and involving ugly avatars. This was compensated by great combat and interesting story. But after several hours the crashes started, the game would crash to black screen at various moments, sometimes immediately after starting up.

My rig has i-7 processor and Nvidia GTX 970 16 MB GPU. It handles games like Witcher 3, Cyberpunk, etc. efficiently.

I went through verifying the integrity of files and updated all drivers. No dice. Changing graphics level to low did not help. The performance monitor (Nvidia in game interface) shows GPU use at 90% plus, CPU use low, frame rate between 60-90 immediately before a crash.

Exasperated with this I decided to try a similar game and went with Pillars of Eternity II; Deadfire, Got a few crashes bur not too many. Went online looking for help. And it looks pretty grim. There is a lot online on performance of Deadfire which is 3 years old. A number of different fixes were suggested, some work, some do not. The game has a persistent memory leak. One user wrote: "Obsidian cannot code". Apparently older computers with GTX cards are often plagued by crashes. What are developers doing about it? Sweet bugger all.

It seems that Solasta has a similar problems. I hope that you guys will not follow the lead of Obsidian and do something about it. I add that I have over 150 games and never had a problem like the one with Solasta.

Have you tried with VSync On ?

Have you tried Window borderless instead of Fullscreen (i.e. Windows 10 can sometimes have issues when a game is in Fullscreen)

Hi. I'm John in Canada. I'm 55 and have played D&D in various forms since 1979 when we played a weird hybrid cobbled together between the 1st edition Players Handbook & Monster Manual, the original green booklets and supplements until the DM guide came out. Moved away from my high school friends and drifted out of tabletop gaming for a long while, but after playing in a Neverwinter Nights 2 Persistent World, I was inspired to run a Rolemaster campaign over the internet and I've kept my hand in tabletop now and then since. Most of my D&D experience post 1990 has been from CRPG's (Baldur's Gate, Neverwinter Nights, Pathfinder: Kingmaker, Solasta) but I have played in one 3rd edition D&D, one Pathfinder campaign and played a couple of 1-shot 5e adventures in the past few years. Still think 3rd edition was an overcomplicated mess (and this is coming from a veteran Rolemaster player!),

I'm really impressed with Solasta's encounter design and gameplay. While I loved Baldur's Gate 2 and Planescape: Torment, I always found combat in the Infinity Engine games a chore, and Pathfinder:Kingmaker even more so. So it's been a surprise to me to find a CRPG where the combat was enjoyable enough for me to want to play through dungeon crawls.

Brand new player. Current dungeon master in two campaigns. I love the game! Great job capturing 5th edition into gameplay. Hope to see more freedom and options in NON-combat scenarios as you develop. More dialog options and control over our character personalities would be appreciated. Never underestimate how much we like to roleplay lol!

Fantastic game though. Cheers!

I'm really looking forward to the world and lore of this game. All the campaign settings that I enjoy have a rich and vibrant world. Gods, Geo-politics, and racial interactions give a depth and breadth that I love.

I never came to introduce myself on this topic.

I will correct this. My player name is Mister00ps, I'm French and I'm about forty years old and I've been a paper RPG and video game player for well... 25 years.

My favorite old video games are Planescape Torment and Arcanum (the OSTs of these two games still sometimes haunt my dreams). My first paper RPG was Rolemaster and since then I've been a player and/or game master on Starwars d20, D&D 3.5, 4 and 5, "Chroniques Oubliées"...

And in D&D5, my favorite ancestry and classe is half-elf, bard of the College of Blades (so I'm very hopeful for the release of this class in the next DLC).

Quoi que tu dises, quoi que tu fasses... I speak bad English... so what?
