Weird Graphical Issues Since Update

2 months ago (edited)

I'm having some strange graphical glitches since the update. Everything is out place and glitchy (torch fire, character position circles, character movement tiles, etc). Everything was fine before the update. I'm thinking this is a corrupted save as starting a new game fixes the issue OR this could be a break in ultrawide compatibility.

Is anyone else encountering this?

I have also tried verifying game files, reinstalling etc. Game is basically unplayable.

Yes, having the exact same issue since the newest update arrived. Had no issues whatsoever, prior to this. Really hope they fix this soon, as the game is unplayable like this...

Thank you. Knew I could not be the only one experiencing this issue.

I had the same problem but I was able to fix it by turning my anti-aliasing to TAA and capping my Vsync at 60 frames. I am not sure which ones of these fixed it.

For me, the interactable objects all seem to be on a different frame than the background visually. When holding alt, I see interactable objects hanging out away from where they should be according to the background. The interaction still happens where it should be, but the visual parts of the interactables aren't where they should be. Also, this happened to me with a save game started after the update, so it's not a corruption issue.

Yes.  Our multiplayer group has 2 players having these graphical issues.  But oddly, they seem to resolve themselves after a combat encounter.  A very painful combat with the graphical issues, but afterwards it reset to normal for the rest of the session.

I want to hear from the devs on this. It's been almost 3 weeks.

So this did appear to resolve itself after playing. At least for now. It is still disappointing to know how inattentive TA is to this forum where people are actively reporting issues with the game and there is virtually no response or participation from the company. The fact that this was a crowd funded game makes this even more disheartening. Even a simple acknowledgement that this latest 'patch', if we can call it that, has caused so many issues would've been something. Not sure anyone even asked for crossplay but that's beside the point. The way this has been, well, is being handled is atrocious. This will definitely be my last purchase from this company.

This solved for mee, too. Thank you very much.
