Be able to hide user interface while exploring Sneak attack and get off first shot before combat then go to surprise round.

Loot sometimes blend in with terrain so use left alt to show loot as well,.

I like the idea of enemy mages dropping a spell book. Easy way to get access to s new spell or two and the ability to offload it for some coin or other item.

1.) More Dual Wield Option

2.) More interaction in combat, such as, if a spider is climbing on a wall, if it is shot down and falls on top of another creature, possible damage or knocking the creature down for a round could happen. Same thing as knocking a creature onto a sleeping friendly to wake him.

3.) More races, more classes, (those I believe are to come, just patience)

4.) More combat engagement options, such as pinning shots, disarm, parry, etc...

Perhaps some suboptimal-but-fun magical items if possible? A cursed/possessed sword/weapon would be the ultimate, but I can fully appreciate that that's difficult to implement. Perhaps some more exotic blast-from-the-past weaponry like scythes (mainly for NWN nostalgia...)

Power attack feat -5 penalty to hit +10 damage applicable  to both ranged and melee weapons would make me happy.

I appreciate that this game is being made by a smaller studio with lesser resources than the AAA ones, so I want to make it clear that I love what they are doing and am a bigger supporter. That being said:

  1. I think there needs to be additional feats. I haven't played a fighter, yet, but it appears it would be lacking. I also think it would give considerable flavor to character creation and making more memorable characters.
  2. I recently did another play through and noticed that the +1 Half-Plate now has gold embroidery. That needs to continue to happen. What I really like is that it was a progressive and some what subtle upgrade. I would expect +2 to be a bit flasher or posh and so on.
  3. The spell book was mentioned above. I really liked that about BG I / II, thought it was worth reiterating.
  4. Thief Class needs a rework. It doesn't differentiate itself from being anything other than subpar to the other two.
  5. Mages/Wizards should have the option to put their attack cantrip as a quick action that replaces or splits the attack button. Perhaps a setting that toggles the attack button to be cantrip. For martial classes it makes sense to have the attack button featured so predominantly but it's annoying having to go through the cast spell menu every time I want to do a basic attack with my magic user.
  6. Recognizing the levels are still pretty low, some interesting magical items would be welcomed. I think a way of getting around everyone having an over powered arsenal would be to introduce items with minuses as much as pluses. Risk to reward that needs to be managed. Although I am sure someone can come up with better ideas, an example would be:

- Blade of Thorns: +2 Longsword that causes bleed effect to user and prey (Bleed Effect = 1d6 damage) every time a hit is landed.

-Mask of the Immoral: Helm/Mask that applies vampiric touch (3d6 necrotic damage from victim transferred to user as health) to all attacks. User has vulnerability (receives double damage) from radiant and fire damage.

-Idol of Ifrit: Statue that can be used once per long rest. When activated, user can throw idol 6 spaces (plus strength modifier/ +1 per tile) away. A Fire Elemental is summoned to the location, replacing the idol and will attack the nearest target/creature. Fire Elemental will continue to attack the nearest creature or creature who attacked it last until all creatures (friend or foe) are destroyed. Elemental will return to idol form when destroyed. Idol can be found in a pile of ashes where the Elemental once stood.

Just some thoughts. Variety is the spice of life... and gaming.

Solasta needs more feats in general. Currently I can’t think of any reason to pick anything other than Duelist as a melee character.

-The ability to have two characters be some sort of family relation (either twins, older/younger siblings, father/child, cousins). Add another layer of interactions between characters if they are together in a campaign and so would create more side story opportunities.

-Perhaps more tutorial quests depending on the class, character personality/alignment/backstory, and whatever character order ends up happening so that you still have the types of tutorial in the current order. This would be mostly to add more variety to the starting quests and help make each character's story unique each time you played it. Not a necessity, but could be helpful.

-A tighter control of who says what dialogue. I doubt good and/or highly formal characters would be so quick to say or even agree with an assessment that beer is 'donkey piss' for instance. I know that that joke has to be made for the meeting that happens later on, but maybe a different joke could be made instead if all in the party are not the type to say such a thing and have there be more varied reactions if one person is uncouth enough to say that while everyone else isn't?

Overall though, really do enjoy the game. Looking forward to seeing what's next.

seems you got the rules, but not the spirit...for example: standing in front of the council, vow, etc with a party with 3 dwarves...and no one asks for payment (or equipment)!! no, thats not greed, thats a simply reaction (maybe not from an aristocrat or academic background, but..);speaking of...poor ranger always has to take lowlife (because of lockpicking) never got a chance to grow up in small towns or woods.....

I'd like to see a profile system where I could group my saves by different playthroughs. That way I can experiment with different party setups, different quest choices, etc. I don't like having all the saves in one list because it's hard to keep track of which ones are which, even if I have descriptive names and it can be easy to accidentally overwrite a save.

First of all, I'm enjoying the game so far and appreciate what you're doing.

Would it be possible to add more advanced choices for levelling? I really miss the option to distribute skill points and thereby customize the characters further and see it develop. Not sure if you have the needed licences or available resources to implement it, but it would be really, really awesome if you could!!

I also suggest to have more "natural" coloured options for hair and skin when customizing character, in addition to some of the more extreme colours. If they'd change a bit depending on what race you chose as well, that'd be even cooler.

i think the best part of solasta is its attempt to stay true to 5e, i hope they focus on expanding levels, encounters, story lines, etc... and not have them spend time on attempting to hybrid the game platform into other game systems.  there are ways that currently exist in 5e that allow you to customize/modify/re-train characters as they develop:  the guidelines in tasha's or the adventures league complete rebuild till 5th level.  but because of the key differences between a computer game and a tabletop game i think it is more than sufficient and more enjoyable to simply rerun the game with different builds.
