What do you get when you combine Wizardry 8 and the 5e SRD? The Fellowship Saga.
Created by one of the developers of Wiz8 (I think Andrew T. Emmons,) The Fellowship Saga is a turn based blobber where the player creates up to five party members and tromps through the wilderness and cities, as well as dungeons.
There's a demo out on Steam right now, just want to spread the word for there can never be too many Wizardry clones.
So I beat the demo using pre-gen characters. It is very rough around the edges, but really fun. Needs better interface/controls and could use better gramphics. It is very Wizardry 8, it even uses a bar to indicate party movement range. One big difference to Wiz8 is that instead of the party formation disc, party formation is based on using ranged weapons/spells. I.e. characters will auto-switch from front/back row depending on their action that turn.
