I'm unable to further the main quest due to a bug in Cradle of Fire-Fight with Edrof. I encounter the following issue
When I select my character to fight I appear in the stockade as intended, but I'm still equipped with all my Items, and the ! is above the Armor stand, weapon stand, and Edrof. I install the armor and weapon and remove ALL of my equipment. I step up to Edrof in the blue rectangle, but nothing happens. I try selecting Edrof again nothing happens. I quit the game and select another character but it still selected the leader in party order, So I move another character to a leadership position and it will then load that person into the stockade, but I have the same issue, armor equipment, and Edrof unresponsive. I quit and remove all my mods and the issue still happens.

We've been trying to replicate this bug on our end, but we could not.
Another player has been reporting the same problem, also with a save that had mods.
What mods did you use?
I have the very same issue. I have a handful of mods installed. Can't run my game without them as I get an error. So, I guess I have to fail the quest. Hopefully I can finish the gem quest.
I'm also stuck in this fight, can't start it even if I unequip all my items, and only wear the orc stuff etc.
It's probably the mods like you say.
Same here I tried removing all my items from my player even the armor (as it says both opponents need to be unarmored), picked the axe, and went to the luminous rectangle, there was a refresh in the game, (just a microsecond delay) so I think they check every time you enter what is your player equipment to trigger some sort of animation, but nothing really happens, I can't get the fight to start. I even left the axe in the stand as it says the orc always picks that weapon and choose another one. Still nothing. I do have several mods installed and most of my players have mod related classes, so I can't really change that. I also tried using another member of the group that is not multiclassing or using a class comming from a mod, but when I get to the ring the main character is the one brought there no matter which player I choose to pick the fight. So strange, I will try respec for my main character and using a simple class no mod related and try this again.
So I am having same problem, mods installed, I will of course try to get to a save point where no one is multiclass, and I will remove mods. But it would be nice to know what the problem MOD is. I have to say I could not imagine playing this game without the MODS as they enhance the experience greatly. I make no bones of it, I always choose games that can be modded.

Same here. In my case it was definitely the SolastaRespec mod (ver. 1.1.4). Once I selected a character not edited by the Respec mod as my champion, the quest went as intended after that. Hope this helps.
I am on xbox with no mods and I am unable to even see Edrof. When I approach his arena after the initial cut scene, the marker on the compass is there for him, but edrof himself is not there. I have tried every normal fix, even went all the way to the point where I picked up kedra and went back through so I could kill everyone instead of persuading my way past, still the same issue once I get to the tribe area
