Stealth Tutorial

Having trouble here, with the recovering stolen heirloom (gem). Guard above keeps spotting my character, which isn't a Rogue. And doesn't look like this Guard will ever move, footprint tracks leading to something under - possibly the planks I need to use, right under their line of sight. So, stuck. Unable to complete mission let alone get into the fort. I'll investigate some more but this is getting annoyingly frustrating honestly. "Use caution next time" they ARE IN STEALTH but it almost useless for a non-stealth class. Pete sake the Wizard I made with the Orc stealth bit of tutorial had a better stealth option.
