2 of the brood are stuck in a room. Since I cant reach them. I cant leave combat. I've tried multiple resets of the fight but the same 2 broods always get stuck in the same room.

Which room are you referring to?

The 4th attempt it all worked fine. I wasn't able to recreate it and so I wasn't able to screen capture. It was the room with the pillar that collapses out when struck with a cantrip.

I have the same issue as you, here are the screen shots:

There is no way to end the fight, as there is no targeting possible... fight cannot end... gamer is therefore stuck...

Have you tried targetting the mob icon at top of screen? That's worked for me.

I have the same problem. I managed to kill them by summoning that Cleric weapon and with some spells (fireball etc.), but it's clearly bugged. Also the enemies respawn if I kill them, save and reload. Does that happen for you too?

And the column is clearly bugged, you can't really move down from it when coming from the other side, it lands on the head of one of the broods and doesn't go further.

This has happened a couple of times to me. You draw aggro from a mob you can't reach and instead of dropping aggro it just stands there until you can run around half the map to kill it. I'm not sure if it's an issue with aggro or pathfinding. Probably both.

Yep.

I have problems with the game crashing and causing my PC to reboot. So I tried to quicksave during the fight, but that made infinitive 'cause the respawn. So I waited for the night and first killed the brood separately (Dancing Light drives them from their parking spots). After all waiting broods on the map where killed, I opened the castle. That reduced the fight to 6 enemies, which I managed to finish w/o crash after a few tries.

I have yet to find a  workaround on this.  I've restarted that battle a dozen times, and each time I end up with 30+ Brood - killing the 3 at the door makes no difference with the masses that converge from elsewhere. 6 enemies would be a dream.

I had the same problem, it seems to be caused because the intances of the Brood at the Wizard's Tower (I Assume that's what you meant in the title) in the buildings respawn when you take a long rest and when the fight starts they are not removed. If you then trigger them by getting noticed by them they're added to the fight. At one point I had about 14-16 enemies to fight (it was a good fight but took ages). It could also not be finished as there is one room I can't figure out how to get in and the Brood couldn't get out so the fight never finished.

Best way to not trigger them is to stay close to the door when you fight and, if you cast fly, don't go too far past the key stones. Or cast things like fireball near the outer buildings.

I have attached a picture of that room. If anyone knows how to get in there please let me know.

You have to knock over the stone bridge (highlighted in yellow on your screenshot)  with an arrow or magic spell, it will fall down and you can climb in the room

Thanks for that! I tried flying and levitating but they didn't work so will use arrow next time.
