Shield not adding to AC when equipped

I have a female dwarf cleric and she has a shield equipped, but her AC isn't counting the shied when calculating her total AC. I've removed it and put it back on, reloaded and rebooted and still no change. Even her picture only shows her wielding warhammer with no shield even though it's equipped.

I fixed the glitch. I had to equip a torch then switch back to the primary slot and the shield showed up and counted towards my AC.
