I would like to see a list of bugs being fixed in the next update.  

Personally, I have no interest in the content of the new paid DLC (I will probably get it anyway), but there are bugs that have been around since I started playing in EA that have yet to be addressed.

Two that I can recall off the top of my head: Will we be able to actually target two enemies with Acid Splash, for example?  Will lightning bolt no longer go through walls?  While this didn't come up in the main campaign, it did come up in user content: dragon breath also passes through walls.

Ok, yeah that is fair criticism. No idea what TA is using to track bug reports, but it doesn‘t seem to be working. They never seem to know what they’ve fixed or what’s been reported. Right now, it’s not too big a deal, but it\f they don’t get that in order that will be a growing problem over time.

from my OP above:

"When adding ingredients so the party can craft pots and the like. As the builder of a module, I should be able to AT A MINIMUM, mouse over a potions recipe (which must be added so their toons can learn to craft that pot) , hit ALT, and get the ingredient list FOR that specific potion, ie...read the recipe. Otherwise, I need apparently, to memorize the entire set of recipes in Solasta, to ensure that if I want the party to be able to craft potion XYZ, I don't forget to add oddball component G to a chest somewhere. "


Not even addressed in this D.M. upgrade. Apparently we are supposed to play through the game, buy every crafting recipe in the game, and manually compose our own list/recipe book. When the D.M. says "Hold ALT for additional information..." whie the mod maker is in theD.M., this action should OPEN the recipe so the mod maker can read it. Now the modder, knows precisely how much of what, needs to be placed somewhere within the modded rooms/maps, in order to allow use OF the recipe being provided.


This is not a minor thing. I should not have to, along with 173 other modders, manually compose a spreadsheet of the recipes on my own. Nor should I have to change screens so I can GOOGLE to try and find the recipes, the game should have but could not be bothered to have, provided.


When combined with the over priced DLC, granting a new race of 1/2-orc but still using the same humanoid voices (from an orc???seriously??),...yeah...no...just...no.

If you consider a $10 DLC overpriced, maybe this isn’t for you. At full price plus DLC you’d be looking at $50 total. Right now it’s $30 to because of the half-price sale. You seem to be getting increasingly negative and maybe you’d be happier to just take a break and do something else for a while.

What other voices should half-orcs use? They're half orc - half human. So they sound and look relatively human.

Also I do not think the DLC is overprized really seems to be on par with prizes of similarly sized DLCs for other games just this time arround I'm actually willing to pay for it couse I enjoyed the core game and want more.

Remember, the paid DLC is 2 classes, a race, and a background. All of which arguably, should have been present to begin with.


As for how i value the DLC...I have ever played a 1/2-orc in any rpg setting, so the addition of that race has absolutely zero value to me.

Nor have I played either a Druid or a Barbarian, in any computer rpg so again, zero value to me.

The wanderer background, is essentially what I build, anytime it is an option. It fits my "play style" well. However, that alone doe snot make the DLC worth $10. A fiver? Sure. A ten spot? Sorry, no.

As for..."but we have to support the devs"...I bought the game on STEAM, had a pissing match with STEAM and uninstalled it. So then, since I still wanted to play Solasta, I bought the game again on GOG. So I believe i HAVE "supported the devs". NW, I need to hold the devs to a higher standard, so we gamers get what we should be getting. And that does NOT mean, for T.A to follow the Paradox business model of paid DLC, after paid DLC after paid DLC, ad nauseum. That path, is the one I fear they are heading down, and that path, is IMHO the wrong.direction.to take.

Well, I'm on the opposite end I guess. I'm extremely happy with a $10 DLC that adds two entire classes, a brand new race, and a new background.  I'd easily pay considerably more if that is what they needed/asked.  $10 per class, $10 per race, $50 per campaign, no problem.

Easily worth the enjoyment I get out of the game.

I totally agree with this. I came to this game from World of Warships, where a single DLC ship can cost over US$100. Paying $10 for two new classes, a new race, and tons of new content is an amazing deal.
