I love the game, but I get frustrated trying to play because it seems that at random, maybe somewhere between 15-45 minutes of play, the screen will just got black. The game is still going. The sound is still on. If it happened during the middle of an action, you'll hear the action continue. If it happens during conversation, you'll hear them continue talking.
The only way to fix it is to close the game and reload my last save. When I load up though, the player profile pics will have a purple static over them that won't go away. Sure enough though, after another 15-45 minutes of play, the screen goes black again.
I play on a Macbook Pro and I have all the recommended specs, but I'm not sure if maybe I have some settings that I'm not understanding that are off. I don't know. Has anyone ran into this before?

There are some known issues for Mac Players when the Volumetric Lighting option is turned on, and it does cause issues similar to what you are describing (black screen, odd purple artifacts on portraits...).
Could you see if this option is turned on in your Graphics Settings, and if so, turn it off?
