If you open the save menu, but don't select a save file or manually enter a save, the game seems to save but doesn't create or update a save file. There's a message that says that a save file was created and you see the filepath, but there wasn't anything in the list of save files that I could load from. I would recommend one of the following:
--Disable the save button until you select a file or create a new one
--By default select the last saved game file, so you overwrite it
--Have a default string like "New Save" that you can overwrite, but if you just save immediately you at least get a new save file
So maybe not a bug, but instead an improvement to a usability heuristic of error prevention.

So it's not a bug when you click Save, the message says it Saved - but it doesn't? Tchh.
I'm being charitable, Simon. I've been a software tester for 16 years, and I don't know these developers well enough to be accusatory ;)
Kind of the middle, right? It might be saving...somewhere. And I should've realized that I didn't select a save file. But it's not my fault if I make a mistake with software that has usability issues!
Please Help me i cannot save the game at all...im old and not to comp savy..i reinstaleld now same problem im desperate as i rather enjoy this game,ty
