Release: Stockade of the Slave Lords

Well you could conceivably do that, but it will be very disjointed and jarring for the story itself.

Because there is no "rest" between them. It was one of the things Berenger/Vincto pointed out to me and why he disliked ending a module at the end of the dungeon crawl. Doing that without the proper "feel" of a resting or calm before the storm, makes them feel very jarring. Which is why I changed tactics at the end of In Pursuit of the Slave Lords and now in Moathouse on the Borderlands.

If you noticed in the end of In Pursuit of the Slave Lords its the only module of the series that you come out of the cave at the end to receive a proper epilogue or closing of the story, and its been a much more comfortable ending for people.. I've started to realize the importance of that rather than just cutting it off abruptly and just moving on to the next one.

Hmmmm. Maybe the final fight exit leads to the “closing cut-scene exit” leads to the “opening introdcution entrance” of the next module? The last Slavers module did do that well, it is true. But if the 3rd slaver module had done that same thing with the “export your character exit” instead leading to the 1st entrance of the 4th module, would that not work? Though I guess that has the downside of not letting you have each module as standalone that other can potentially remix without different knowledge. I’m clearly not a dungeon designer, just spitballing stuff! Playing Witch Mountain now!

Well I did just update Temple of Evil on Witch Mountain today too.

Added some lore, and noticed there were new editions to that tileset, so went in and gave it a little upgrade. Its not a total change but it did seriously beef up the area design. Also put everything on Triggers now so you can actually short rest which was not available during its original creation during Early Access.
