Stockade of the Slave Lords (Collection Link) STEAM WORKSHOP

Chapter 3: Secret of the Stockade

Lady Almalphia is furious after her treatment by the Slavers. Her rural manor was destroyed and her servants captured or killed. She gathered many like minded nobles from the surrounding areas and is now bankrolling the party to go after them and take them down. She wants the entire Slavers network destroyed.

Using the information from the maps you gained in the Slave Pits, she has asked you to seek out this Stockade along the slave trade route. She wants you to rescue any who are held there and destroy it if possible. But failing that, obtain any information on the network which will aid in bringing the whole thing down.

As luck would have it, while searching for the Stockade, a half starved slave stumbled into your path. It turned out he had escaped from the Stockade and knew a secret way for you to get in. A well concealed rope he left out of a tower in the curtain wall.

With his directions you manage to find the Fort hidden in a glen. You set up a base camp outside of their patrols and prepare yourself... to take on the Stockade of the Slavers.

NOTE: If you wish to do the Night Raid as was originally intended, just set camp until nightfall, or rest and scribe a few scrolls or short rest until the night time.

This Module is the Sequel to Assault on the Slave Lords and Haunted Keep of the Slavers

I have now also Uploaded to the Nexus as well

Hi Silverquick. Thanks for the release. I was looking forward to this one.

Just a question , I finished Assault , is there a planned module finish transition to allow for export of the characters from Assault to bring into Stockade? Maybe it's there somewhere and I just missed it

Ahhh that's what's going on.

Yeah its a secret door in the Bottom level next to the Prisoner Cage near the table where you fight the Berserker after you rescue Lady Almalphia. That's the actual exit.

Ok I made an Update to Assault:

There is Now a Button to activate that Secret Door for the Exit Point next to the Table. The Exit point is actually right next to the Cell you find the Lady Almalphia in It will affect your Saved Games so should be easy to Find now.

Thanks Triple,

I won't be releasing anything this week, as I'm still getting things together, (and I think a lot of people are still in the middle of Assault on the Slave Lords)

But with all 3 of them together currently its around 15-20 hours of play time.

Haunted Keep of the Slave Lords (actually about 4-5 hours)

Assault on the Slave Lords (full run is about 6 hours)

Stockade of the Slave Lords (Full run is another 6 hours)

Thanks for the modules Silverquick.

Really enjoyed the adventure, brought back some memories from the early 90's. I don't know about everybody else but for some reason I can't find how to access Markessa's treasure room. I must be blind.

I plan on staying until I find it.

I look forward to what comes next.

Heh, its behind a secret door. If you failed to detect it, then you'll miss it.

It does have the items you were supposed to find in there, the Wand of Magic Missiles, Dust of Disappearance, and I think I added one more item. That and the gold.

There is one treasure room I had to remove though. Its the one near Blackthorn's quarters. It contains like 10,000 silver, 5,000 electrum, 5000 gold, and 1000 platinum. But its down a sewer drain and can only be reached with gaseous form. So... basically no way in hell the party would ever be able to get it. It also had the Amulet with the Word of Pain on it which is too bad.

Thanks for playing though, and I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Well I'm working on the Finale now, and I admit its much harder than the previous ones.

There's more overland adventure in this one as you travel across the bad lands and through the Caverns of the Remorhaz to get to the secret base.

But it is coming along surprisingly well. Obviously I can't do Suderham so that has to be cut out. I'll think of something else I'm sure.

I can't wait! Really enjoyed playing through all your modules, despite some of the rng frustration.  All were well designed and I'm sure this one will be no exception. :)

Well I've now completed the Finale.

In Pursuit of the Slave Lords is now completed and I'm going to be play testing it this week. So it should be available later in the week. Looking at the encounters, this one is going to be a lot harder than the last ones. But then again the party will be starting at 7th level, and likely 8th level before completing the first area, as Stockade left them just a little shy of 8th level.

Its more Wilderness adventure than the previous titles. This time you'll be traveling through the Badlands to get to the hidden Slavers base through the Forest of the Crimson Spiders, and then into the Caverns of the Remorhaz.

Interestingly enough I was able to work in the Suderham style ending.

Well First playtest went through, caught a lot of bugs. Here's some screenshots of it.

Forest of the Crimson Spiders

Forest of the Crimson Spiders

Orc Stockade

Heart of the Volcano

Ancient Ruins

And if you've played the previous works of the series, this does get your characters to 10th level. You start at 7th level but if you've played through Stockade of the Slave Lords, you're only a tad shy of 8th level on your exported characters. So you spend only about half of the first area at 7th level. You play through the next two areas at level 8. Then level 9 up to the Orc Stockade and Hidden Base, You gain 10th in the Hidden Base, and then in the Heart of the Volcano at 10th.

You may or may not know how to fix this, but with this particular campaign, I cannot set any characters to show up, and when I create characters they are not added. I am simply taken back to a blank character select screen.

Not sure,

There used to be an export bug in Solasta where if you exported your characters they would not show up correctly in the Character creator. And would not show up to add to a Player Made Module. But I have not heard from anyone that has experienced it after the last patch.

I experienced something like that once when I did not level up a character before exporting them. So its hard to say just from the basic description you gave.
