I get a ranger to lvl 7 and he gets the recycle skill but I can't use it. When I clic on it, it does nothing. (Tested many times on the world map rest and it only worked once on a normal rest on a map.)
My ranger just hit level 7 too and I noticed this. I do currently have a heavy crossbow +1 equipped, and was wondering if that has something to do with it since the description says it creates arrows and not bolts. I also noticed Step Back does not give me advantage on my next ranged attack like it should. Can you check if Step Back is working for you?
Same here, both on recycler and on step back.
I used step back only once and it worked, so I can't tell for it.
Recycle worked once for me last night during a short rest. I think the previous times I tried it was on long rests. It does only make arrows if you have a crossbow. It would be nice to be able to use it to make bolts if you're using a crossbow. I still do not get an attack advantage after using Step Back though.
