Very VERY tired of always getting surprised while traveling.
I think it is total BS you need a feat to even have a chance of being aware of them.
NOONE in ANY of my campaigns didn't EVER camp without a lookout and you should NOT have to have a feat.
In the current game 10 encounters only 1 was I aware and not surprised.

you can disable random encounters in settings. Also, an Oblivion Cleric really helps.
