Hi there. Is there not a way to change your spells while you travel for multiple days? It includes multiple long rests during the journey, but I can't seem to find out how to change my prepared spells outside of long rests at campfires (which are hard to come by so far). Thanks!
I think the travel pop up window has a settings button (looks like a gear), and one of the options lets you stop after every long rest which I think allows you to change spells. If that option is off, your party will just continue travelling after the rest ends.
If you click on the tiny faces icons while traveling, near the middle of the screen, this opens the character UI, so you play with Crafting, Inventory, and MAYBE change spells (to be tested: they might be locked, not sure).
It is not obvious and I would like that aspect of the travel UI to be improved slightly, or maybe a clearer tutorial tip.
Or the possibility of dropping a camp (programming trick since encounter maps and system is already in-game).

When I played a ~month or two ago, I feel like you could change the travel settings (e.g., prompt spell changes after a long rest) before you began traveling. But once you begun moving, you were locked into your choices until you reached the destination.
This should definitely be changed, along with allowing us to change directions (e.g., turn around and return to town) mid-travel.

I found the answer, here: When you click on a place to travel to and has the different options of how fast to travel etc, below that is a gear icon. Click on it and select "Interrupt when long rest is completed" This will allow you to to prepare spells anytime you rest while traveling on the map.
