Not sure if bug: Sleeping in residence doesn't trigger event

So without spoilers:

1. In the late game you have a choice to make: Sleep in the inn, or sleep in the residence.

2. Have multiplayer party

3. Choose to sleep in the residence.

-> Notice that the quest does not advance, and nothing happens.
