After the latest patch, 1.1.11, my travel on the overland map has no events other than crafting. It's just "failed to camp" all the way. No random fights either. There's no playing cards, no finding herbs, no finding food, nothing.

Also, are you travelling to (or from) a particular place, or does this happen on all your travels?
I'm going to try uninstalling all my mods and then reinstalling the game first. I'm not really sure how to send save games anyway. I'll let you know if vanilla doesn't clean it up. (It didn't before the reinstall...downloading now.)
Though, I'll have to do the tutorial.......:)

We've received your save file, and I just tested it.
On my end, I do have random encounters and the travel log showing the party doing things, my characters could rest properly too.
If you've continued playing on this save with no mods, are your characters still unable to rest or find random encounters while travelling?
I figured it out.
Disabling random encounters in the settings kills everything: the flavor stuff (playing cards, praying), the hunting, AND the fights.
(At least on my machine.)
So if you want no fights, you get no food or herbs apparently.
