New Feats - Inner Strength DLC

We got some details on the new Race (Dragonborn) and the new Classes/Subclasses for Monk/Bard/Warlock.  But when will we see the new Feats coming in the DLC?  Maybe release the info on the DLC to the Official Solasta Wiki?  Or post a few each week here on the forums?

Bump.

Have any details regarding the 17 new feats been posted? If not, no worries, the DLC is expected to be released next week anyway.

I asked the same question in the topics "Monk, Bard, Warlock & Dragonborn - Inner Strength DLC releases November 14th!" and TomReneth answers me "They did explain the feats in the latest stream. The vid might still be up. Off the top of my head, it sounded like a decent list, though I don't think we get a spellcasting feat to pick up more spells". Apparently we will no have more info before the release next Monday.

Yes.  There are the new elemental touch feats which lets you do a little extra elemental damage each turn.  But I like the 2-H weapon feats trying to give a little more option for those (Mighty Blow and Forestalling Strength).  And a mini-Absorb Elements in a feat could be handy.  Overall, lots of interesting new feat options coming.  They did a nice job expanding the feats.

Looks good, thanks for the update!

Also a feat for when no one in the party has Identify and there are no shops around!

Looks neat. Light weapons got a nice defensive buff and the elemental touch can be nice if you have a feat to burn.

Mighty blow and the touch feats might make fighters capable damage dealers. I made some calculations and a champion fighter surpasses Tirmar paladins in damage even against soraks on high levels. They are roughly even at level 6. So yeah, paladins are still more useful due their wide range abilities, but it makes me want to try a champion fighter as my main warrior.

Why Champion? Their only combat features are 19-20 crit and extra fighting style.

Why Champion? Their only combat features are 19-20 crit and extra fighting style.

Those two provide about 5-5% extra damage.

My first level fighting style will be the AC plus.

The second would be the damage buff.

This is the only fighter subclass with any damage buff. This tells a lot about how mediocre the fighters in Solasta are.

Commanders have an AoE buff that gives the Fighter and allies advantage on an attack roll 2/3/4 times per short rest (and get some other support abilities), while Spellblades have excellent mobility options and even some control spells. Both subclasses would be worth more than Champion even on a damage oriented character, because Commander provides burst (potentially a lot of it since you buff multiple characters) and Spellblade versitility.

Fighters are a bit lackluster in Solasta, but Champion is still a terrible option.

Well, because I misread the description of the commander. I remembered only a single advantage for some reason, not AoE. Thanks.

However I don't know how spellblades could be better damage dealers.

Versitility and mobility. Spells like Longrunner and Expeditious Retreat will let you be in position more often, while the control spells can keep you and your party alive. The increased DPR from Champion isn't really worth much compared to the other options we have, Solasta or tabletop.

The Cloak and Dagger feat (+2 AC after hitting with a Light weapon) is great for Monks that tank and use a Shortsword (Light, Finesse, Monk) as their primary weapon.
