Lost Valley - The Last Endeavor - Cannot speak with Renno Highwater

After defeating the dominion troops and being assigned the quest "The Last Endeavor" by Ellaria Anfarel, I am told to speak with Renno Highwater, the merchant who was in the rebel village in the buried city of Dinas Gessa. After the fight, Renno is relocated to the "Crossroads" marker on the map.

I am unable to speak with Renno. I can only initiate trade with him. This has left me seemingly unable to continue along the Rebel quest chain.

I am on the current beta branch (Version 1.3.48 - Public), as I needed to switch to said beta branch in order to get the quest "Ugly Truth" to complete properly (giants turned hostile to me upon entering their camp).

same here, hope they put out a beta bugfix patch for this soon, as this is part of the main questline and really prevents progress if you chose to pursue the rebellion route.

From the character chat, are we suppose to let Ellaria Anfarel  die?  I had to keep her alive, but now I am thinking that I should have let her die.  Also has any one experienced a drop in the Rebel faction when they accept a Swamp quest?

I'm *guessing* TactAd will fix it in their next patch if they at all possibly can, like we're saying it puts the Rebel to a dead halt. And it seems to be reproducible much if not all of the time.

+1, same issue.  Please fix!  I saved my game right before the Dominion fight, so hopefully I can go back and finish that path after the bug is fixed.

I tried the most recent beta version to get around this bug.  Was able to talk to Renno. However, after talking to him and accepting the next quest my rep with the Foragers went down by -95 or something like that.  Since it tanked without any type of hint or explanation, I wasn't sure if that was itself another bug.  Or working as intended in the sense it's sort of an end game 'you must choose one side' type of deal.  Either way, would be good to fix that bug, or, add some dialogue hints that your rep with the Foragers will plummet so at least that makes a little sense story wise.  Realize this beta branch is just that and we were warned, so this is me reporting the issue not complaining! :)

+1 same Issue

Hi!

This issue should be fixed for the next update!

I will also add that yes, losing Reputation with the Forge when accepting the quest The Last Endeavor is working as designed. Without getting into spoiler territory, let's just say that though the Forge and the Rebellion can work together, their end goal  are very different

I am having the same bug.  Can't continue the rebellion quest.  Doing Ironman mode so I am truly stuck and can't advance the game without getting this fixed.  Please update ASAP.  There are just way too many bugs and no info on when you are going to ruin your reputation by accepting a quest.  This should be fixed as this is very bad for players.  How are we supposed to know what is going to ruin a faction score if you don't tell us.  Overall the combat is great, the mechanics are great but I hope in your next game you can improve upon the quest lines, story, character models, weapon models, etc.  You should really contact the Dungeon Dudes and see if you can build the Dungeons of Drakenheim module they made.  It has factions in it and would be a fantastic story.  You can hire them as your writers to make cool faction story lines, character background quest lines, etc.  Probably one of the best story driven home brew modules I have ever watched on YouTube.  Anyway keep up the great work just hoping you can fix these quest line bugs.
