During my playthrought, I normally found more javelin on the loot of ennemi that I initially used. In the end I finished the game by droping Javelin as having more that 30 of them was too heavy.

Same. I had two stacks of 3 in my Paladin's inventory, so I went to combine them into a stack of 5 and a single, but instead I wound up with 2 stacks of 5.
Then, when I was fighting the Brimstone drakes in Caer Lem, I threw one javelin at one drake. When I went to loot the body, it had 4 javelins on it! I think a similar thing happened with the goblins, although I just assumed that they were carrying javelins and didn't think anything of it at the time.
But the 4 on the one drake after tossing 1 seemed like a bug.
