I've been having a regular issue, primarily when transferring items from one character to another, but also occasionally after items are identified, where none of the items in the inventory display their mouse over text box. It resolves itself if you remove the item and replace it, but I didn't have this issue until recently.
Does anybody else have the same issue, or something similar?

Yes, I get the issue regularly, and work around it the same way you do. I'm not sure what the trigger is.

The bug occurs when you scroll too fast, either with mouse wheel or by using the scroll bar.
When scrolling slow, it shouldn't break.
