Issues playing other peoples dungeons

2 years ago

Hi Everyone,

I really want to try the dungeons other people have created, but I am having an issue with the characters. I am able to download and extract the files in the proper place. The dungeon displays properly as an option when I start the game. I select the dungeon and some the select character screen. I hit the button to select a character but no characters are displayed. I get a prompt that I must select the user location, (which I have already done) but still, no characters are listed. I create new characters but they are not displayed either and I am unable to play any user-created content. ( Those new characters are displayed if I run the main game). What I am missing? Is there a setting that needs to be changed? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there!

I'm having the same issue. Can you please explain how this can be solved!

Thanks!

Download the file unzip it, and place it in this directory
C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\LocalLow\Tactical Adventures\Solasta\UserContent\Locations

OR...

...Right click on the .JSON mod file, Copy... then start up the game and click Dungeon Creator... then click the button that says FILE LOCATION... then paste the .JSON file into that directory and it will appear and you can play the module.

Start up your Solasta Game and select New Adventure>Campaigns>User Campaign>change. You should see the module listed there, just select that module and play it

If you are still having an issue. Go to character creation and level up Characters to match the dungeon requirements. For Silverquick I make 4 level 5 characters and was able to play their dungeons (which I greatly enjoyed)

@Michael Gallitelli

Thanks for your reply!! I already found that out by chance when creating different level characters. The answer was so simple it didn't even occur to me...
