I am playing the beta and I am a bit confused
Is crafting available as yet?
If so how do I craft, I go to the tab and I am trying to craft a scroll, it just keeps telling me to select one of the options.
Help or clarification would be appreciated

Some crafting is, yes. You have to have the relevant "kit" - scroll, healing, rosary (for enchantment) and poison - and have the skill to use it.
Then at the Inventory, go to Crafting. If you've learned any recipes (you start off with a couple in the inventory that you can learn IIRC - I'm not sure if you have to give it to the right person, i.e. not "waste" it, or whether the learning is party-wide) they will appear there, and both the ingredients you have and the ingredients you're still missing will be shown if you hover over the icon of the thing you want to craft.
Once you have all the requirements, the icon for the thing will be coloured in, and you can select it to craft. Crafting is done by your character "on the side," and at some point you'll be notified they've finished crafting, and the item will appear in your inventory.
One element of frustration at the moment seems to be how difficult it is to obtain the kit needed to craft magical objects. If you don't find one you end up with an inventory cluttered with primal weapons and armour and ingredients and no way to make use of them.
Is the rosary a random drop, or can you purchase it somewhere? I would have thought the vendor who sells crafting materials would sell one, at least.
Crafting is technically available but not much to do really at this point. I found a rosary, several special ingredients, bunch of primed leather and primed short swords. However I only found two recopies, magic battle axe and doomblade great sword / rapier. I crafted the doomblade rapier but it didn't have any special traits at all, basically a plain old rapier which means it is probably not implemented yet given that you get it right before the Early Access content ends. So, I would say don't worry too much about crafting items in the current build even though it is technically available.
The rosary is a strictly random drop. In probably 7 or 8 play throughs, I have so far found....drumroll....1.
Yea, if you don't take the right skills/backgrounds to focus on crafting upfront, it is hard to get later on. Something to keep in mind when choosing backgrounds for further playthroughs.
