What exactly constitutes game over ?
Is it basically any member dying at any point?
I lost Dalliat and that was it for me. OK shoulda been more careful with him.
Might try again but not sure I understand what the odds are. If one party member dies at any point, is that it? - seems pretty hard

The critical NPC part is a special case.  When the additional NPC has an exclamation point on their icon, that means you lose the game if they die.  That is true whether you are playing Ironman or not.

In the base game. Party members can die in combat & it won’t necessarily end the game.  You can cast spells or use items to revive them, usually within some time limit.

Ironman is a special play mode on Steam, wherein you cannot reload to escape the consequences of your actions.  You are only allowed one save for the run, which is constantly updated, so if you make a mistake, you must carry on with it, assuming it doesn’t cause a game over itself.

  1. Daylight spell
  2. Kill the Adds first
  3. Heal your party
  4. use Chill Touch (Spell Effect: Deal damage to one enemy and prevent healing for a limited time.)
  5. play on balanced difficulty not on masochist mode :-)
