Inability to loot an object on the ground in Timarian Tower

I completed the battle with the skeleton in the Tower and a skeleton that was Next to the bookshelf on the south wall when killed the loot bag was inaccessible I moused over it and the cursor had an X under the arrow. I can provide a screenshot that I snipping tooled for reference.
