How to buy ammo from merchants?

Hello,

This is my first playthrough. One thing I don't understand is how to purchase non-magical ammunition. I understand that there is a crafting kit for making it, but is there any way to simply purchase crossbow bolts or arrows? None of the merchants that I can find have any.

Normally, merchants should have some ammo (they had a bit in the early version I played).

Have you checked all the NPC in town ?

If none of ammo, that is an issue and TA should be told about it.

I have as far as I can tell. There's only two merchants that I can find in town, one runs the 'General Store', the other one has magic items. Neither one has ammunition of any kind.
