Hard to arrange guided lockpicking

When you click on a chest or door, you can't tell in advance whether it will require lockpicking, so you can't tell in advance whether you need to switch to your Cleric, cast Guidance on your thief, etc.  Please could you make this less clunky?

In Baldur's Gate 3 there's an option to cast Guidance on any roll if there's a caster nearby with it available.

You could perhaps pop up a dialog if someone tries to do something and there's Guidance available.

Guidance is just as much of a pain at the tabletop too. A pretty poor bit of game design imo!

That is strange.  I can tell in advance, in Solasta, if a chest is trapped and/or locked.  I cast Guidance.

I am rather confident that will not change.  I doubt TA will program some exceptional code to allow Guidance while you are pick locking.

I presume we can exit the pick locking screen... get Guidance... then do it.

How can you tell?

How can you tell?

Traps : if a party members detects it, the chest is bright red.

Locked : isn't there a sign when you mouseover or hover the chest ?
