Going Back To beginning to finish game - BLACK SCREEN

Hey, i just killed Orenetis, took the tool thing to pacify the Redeemers, and went back to the beginning, to finish the game i wanted to finish it. BUT, when i go through the last cave to get back to where it all started, i get a quick cutscene, saying i am once against going with the masgarth principality or what the name was. and after that mini cutscene, the game just goes black screen and i have to ALT F4 to turn off game, as not waiting, or pressing any button or ESC work/does anything. Am i doing something wrong or is this just a bugged ending?
