I pushed this pillar and heard the sound of the animation but it was still in place, as a ghost ! So, I loaded à save and pushed it again. I've got the animation this time but when I walked on it, I turn the camera angle and it returned to its first place letting my characters walk on nothing.

I had similar issue, but in addition:
when i selected a single party member, the pillar would disappear completely, only to reappear when I selected the whole party.
