So I feel like I've completed everything in this dungeon, fought the necro, went to the solar, even exited via the teleport in the necro's room....quest never advanced, still says 'Find a way out of the maze' even though I'm out of the castle. Also, chest in necro room couldn't be picked (got a 16) so if there was something in there that was supposed to advance the quest, it didnt.
Same thing here, quest is stuck on Find a way out of the maze. Traveled back to the city but progression seems stuck.
This quest broke for me as well but differently. Using Misty Step to bypass some of the locked doors in the maze didn't bug the quest - until I defeated "the Master". I had previously gone through most of the teleport puzzle (one of two ways through the maze I think?) but never went through with the final step - the one that puts you in a fight against some skeleton knights and skeleton archers. The quest broke for me when I went through the final teleporter of the puzzle after defeating "the Master". Doing so updates the quest log to again say "Meet the master and get the gem" (or something similar) at which point you can't proceed without reloading a previous save.
i intimitidated the master saw the gem cut scene and quest did not update. Went through teleporter sent me out side ....no update. Went back to home city not update ...gonna go back to bone castle and do the 15 day travel...which doesnt recharge my wand of missiles lol.
The EA content is done after you get the gem (I think?) It told me that after I left the castle via teleporter and then tried to enter overland map. Unless I'm missing something?
I am having a similar issue: the main quest is stuck in "find a way out of the maze". I don't know what I did to break it, maybe I used flying or misty step at some point in the maze. I think I got the gem after defeating the mage master of the keep (but it is not in my inventory). Anyway, I exited the bone keep castle by the teleporter and I went back to Caer Cyflen. No messages of the "EA concluded" so far and I am just stuck in the story progression. The game is over for me, isn't it?
Yes same problem for me, defeated the mage , got the cut scene but no quest advancement.
got this bug, I've tried reloading old saves before entering the maze. got to the end and still could not complete the quest. anyone find a fix for this yet? or should I create a new game?
Would be good to know if that's the end of the EA. I reached level 5 and got the gem so I guess I'm done, no point going back to town.
My quest was also bugged because I entered via the catacombs which doesn't advance even to the 'enter the courtyard' section!
Same here : Dark Castle is totaly completed, I defeated the necromancer, had the gem, could go out, but the main quest track is stuck to "find a way out of the maze".
Plus, I went back to the main city, sold lot of stuff to the factions, but I was not able to buy anything, not even the stuff I could previously buy.
Plus, I have the three packs of bones for the Antiquarians, side quest tells me to give them to the Antiquarians, but the Antiquarian representative doesn't ask for them.
Look likes the stuck main quest blocks everything else ^^
I used flying on one of my characters and was able to get around the maze almost completely.
Confirmed sean_s_braden experience. Also intimidated the mage and received the cut scene. Quest remains hung at the "find a way out of the maze" step.
