I think this problem started after patch 1.1.11 and has gotten progressively worse. Before the patch, I could alt-tab out of Exclusive Fullscreen mode and alt-tab back in to the same mode. After the patch, the game would go to a full-screen window when I alt-tabbed in. I couldn't get it back to Fullscreen Exclusive, but no big deal. Then, at some point (no idea when or why), the game would launch in a window which wasn't full-screen, but still big enough to play. Again, I couldn't get it back to full-screen, however if the game crashed, on the next launch it would go back to Exclusive Fullscreen until the next alt-tab. Now the game has started launching in a window much too small to be playable. I am running the game on an Alienware 17 R3 laptop with Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M.
Same problem here. It keeps starting up in an extremely small window. I tried changing the UserPreferences.xml, but it doesn't help
I'm having the same issue, after alt+tab, the game plays in a window and not maximized, due to this some options are text are not visible.
I've just bought the game and am having this issue.
Did anyone manage to solve it?
