Here's my top 5:

  1. More story content. Both additions to the main story and new campaigns are welcome
  2. More class archetypes for all classes
  3. More magic items (and maybe rebalance the ones we already have? More stuff like Doomblade weapons and the Wardenblade, and less focus on items that just give a damage boost)
  4. More races
  5. Multiclassing

Hard to argue with most of that, though I would point out that you can have multiclassing and a few good subclass options via mods today (Ranger Arcanist is probably my favorite add-on subclass). One thing that does puzzle me, is why more Doomblade (or similar) weapons? Those are pretty terrible.

Personally, I want to see another bump in the level cap, with another rank or two of spells, and some new monsters that will pose a threat to characters with access to the new levels and spells. I mostly am indifferent to new story content, custom campaigns have proven to be very good at adding new adventures/stories, so I’d rather see the capabilities of the DM expanded and polished to facilitate even more custom campaigns. Co-op multiplayer would also be great to have, while you can unlock thar via modding, it isn’t especially reliable and usable at the moment, but would be a great feature in a polished form.

These weapons are indeed terrible... when +1d8 damage on hit weapons are the norm. Which is something i would've liked to see rebalanced, because I think weapons like Lightbringer Shortsword and Black Viper are too powerful and kinda boring. It also makes for a bit of a problem for any party without a crafter.

If most magical weapons had more situational effects, I think it would encourage more experimentation and variety with item setups. Wardenblade is really cool, but getting to cast Spirit Guardians once is just not enough value to compete with a permanent damage boost on martial characters because being in melee makes the concentration unreliable.

So I'd like to see the +damage weapons nerfed and more varied magic items added.

Ahhhh. See, I’d just prefer the 2H weapons be brought up to match the 1H ones (the good ones are +2d6 or +2d4). Because the 1H ones as-is are the kind of gear martials need to compete with casters. And once you move past rerunning the official campaign over and over again, there are a ton of custom campaigns and those weapons tend to just be loot drops and the crafting system doesn’t matter at all. Wardenblade’s +1 AC and free casting of Spirit Guardians is a nice weapon for either a tank, or non-martial (I generally give this to my wizard, because Elf). There’s also quite a variety of magic items, that I seldom or never saw running the official campaign.

Also, being in melee range with Spirit Guardians isn’t generally unreliable. If you are a Cleric using this, it’s a free level 3 spell slot a day, and you probably already took flawless concentration. If you are a caster, you also likely took flawless concentration and you’ll tend to stand behind someone beefier and you’ll probably have taken the Shield spell. If you are a tank, the +1 AC and encouragement to attack you that Spirit Guardiano represents, are both welcome additions. If you are really worried about your concentration despite all this, just take the Dodge action.

I would like more official Dungeon Maker adventures, some of which could be based off some user made ones (striking a deal with the original creator and then the TA revamping it).

Of course, levels 8+ considering the first two official DMs.

[ nb : speaking of... Dun Cuin had a very lack luster ending to say the least...  No dialogue nor ending text/drama... I cannot say more to avoid all form of spoiler.  I suggest official adventures should have a bit more story on the bone than the average user DM.]

Although I think the OP list is great, multiplayer would be #1 on my list. That would be absolutely amazing to have co-op Solasta

For the OP list, I would also add the remaining classes - I'm especially missing the monk.
