Maybe I haven't gotten far enough in the game, but I've acquired several items that say that various factions are interested in them. How do I give them to a faction?

Later in the progression of the game (I think after 2nd or 3rd quest). There will be some dialog with each faction where they introduce themselves, you can turn in items after that.

There is a Factions section in Journal, where you can find each faction, their descriptions and names of a couple of representatives.
Except the sword on the blue background, no idea if it's an old design of a Principality (later changed to a Unicorn) faction or another faction you can find later in the game. If the latter, then it's a bit misleading to use the same background colour.

The sword on blue background is the "Church of Einar". They seem to be missing from the faction screen (and never introduce themselves to you), but you can get reputation increases from them - shown only as popup, not on faction screen - by giving relics to their representative, Dalon Lark. He's standing in that big circle in Caer Cyflen.
