My friend and I have been playing Crown of the Magister lately. We are level 7 and we finished the Shield of the fortress quest. When we defeated Razan, in the chat it said he fell to his death and died. We were trying to continue on to go find him and defeat him per the quest the dragon gives us but the save file crashes every time we try and enter the outside of the shield fortress. We have tried going through the inside of the fortress out, and even trekking all the way back and trying to enter that way. Both times we get the save file crash.
Please Help?
I'm playing with my homies in multiplayer and we got this crash in this exactly moment of the game. And now we are unable to enter again into the Shield Fortress. We used the portal to Copparan and tried to enter by foot.. but no success.
We all verified the Steam Files but we still got the crash issue.
I'll follow this topic if you got any update.

A fix has just been released on the beta branch of Steam that has a fix for the Fortress Of Shield issue.
So it's safe to save the game in the branch and when the stable update comes I can load the save normally?

I assume so as the patch notes this time don't mention that the saves are incompatible.

I have the same problem with the Fortress of the Shield. I cannot enter to finish the Shadow of the Defiler mission. Please fix this bug because this is the best game I've played in a while.
Having the same issue. At least since the update i havnt been able to do any quest in the area after receiving the Gem.

Are XBox Game Pass users screwed, then? I'm literally stuck, can't continue (my party is en route to the Fortress, so I can't back out, crashes when I arrive every time).
