1- Buy a Belt of Giant Strength (which sets your strength to 21)
2- On the character with the Belt of Giant Strength, equip the Bag of Holding, which gives you 3X carrying weight.
Use that character as your mule. You'll never need to drop anything or leave anything behind.
I can character over 600 pounds with that one character without even being lightly encumbered. He's currently carrying multiple full sets of armor too.
Boots of striding and springing may be cheaper option since you don't get encumbered wearing them.
Or, you can switch the encumbrance rules to RAW in the game settings, which will remove light / heavy encumbered thresholds altogether.
Considering that Solasta's homebrew is actually more restrictive than RAW in this regard, I don't think there's much cheesing here.
Is there a reason to carry a lot? Scavengers will offer a better price than selling loot yourself to any merchant, so there is no reason to pick up anything from enemies.
the game dialog makes it sound like you need to pay a fee to the scavengers for their services, but they still rip you off less than all the factions and merchants in the game.

I just discovered this on my second playthrough. More people need to know the best selling conversion is leaving the item on the ground for the scavengers.
