Edit Mission not working in dungeon maker (jumping back to campaign selection)

Hello,

this problem occurse since today and I'm working with version 1.3.46.

When I want to edit one of my missions or even when i try to add a new mission in my campaign, it simply goes back to campaign selection instead of opening the mission editor.

I even tried creating new campaigns and importing everything there, but the same error occurs.

Only thing that lets open the mission editor is restarting the game, creating a new (empty) campaign and then the edit mission button works. But if i go back outside the campaign and reopen it, the error occurs again.

I also send a email with the according campaign, maybe that helps.

I tried to check the files of my installation via steam, but that didn't helped at all.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Edit: I was now able to edit quests, when i started dungeon maker after playtesting the campaign, but after 2 edits the same error occured again.

Another strange thing happens, when the editing of the quest does not work, i can't load any of my savegames, cause it tells me i have no valid savegames. Restarting Solasta solves that problem.

Hey Aegis777,

Sorry for the issue you are facing. So I tried this both inside our dev environment and through the 1.3.46 build, but could not reproduce the issue.

It is just a hunch, but could you provide a screenshot of the "Campaigns" panel inside Solasta, to see the list of campaigns? Same for the "locations / missons" panel. Also, if you feel really brave, could you capture a video, post it on youtube, and post the link here.

It is possible that it is a matter of duplicate name / capital character, etc

Thanks!

Hi again,

As explained by PM, one of your quests referenced a "feuerscherbe" custom item, which was renamed "Feuerscherbe" (capital F). The best solution, unilt a patch arrives, is to manually edit the campaign json file and replace "feuerscherbe" by "Feuerscherbe".

Cheers,
