One issue I noticed: Heavy armor seems to not ignore negative DEX modifiers as it should per 5e rules. (As in, my 7 DEX heavy armor clad paladin with shield has a measly 16 AC in Chain Mail Armor).

I guess this will be fixed on full release, but...  Having found another way into the castle, worked my way through to the top and got the gem, the quest still wants me to 'Enter the Courtyard' and having done that 'Find another way in'

Also

Again, probably fixed on full release... I have a quest to talk to the Scav in the town about another NPC, she is there, with the ! quest marker, but doesnt want to talk to me

My text is purposefully vague to avoid too much spoiling

A small issue I got was that when I have a dancing light spell currently in effect, if I try to cast it a second time, I get the message that casting the new spell will cancel the old one but even if I confirm that I want to recast it, the new spell is cast (my action is used) but the new spell never takes effect.

Weirdly, attacking a prone creature in melee gives disadvantage on the attack instead of advantage.

Also, not sure if it is normal or not, but flanking an opponent doesn't give an advantage on the attack roll.

But the game itself it really great and I'm having a blast playing it.

Been having a blast so far playing through the Early Access, but I’ve come across a few bugs I thought I should mention.


Some spell interactions are a bit strange:

• When I cast Misty Step, it allowed me to teleport inside objects, but my wizard was unable to see anything to cast it again, and was taken out of the main Sorak fight after the first round.

• Spirit Guardians is great, but I’ve found that if it kills an enemy at the start of their turn, the game freezes. I was able to work around it by trying to kill them before they took a turn but it made one of my favorite cleric spells a bit of a hassle to use.

• During a fight later on, an enemy casts Darkness. When my Cleric cast Daylight, the Darkness remained and the Daylight seemed to have no effect.

A second issue is Saving Throws:

• When using the character Beryl (as provided by the story), her spells seemed to function in an odd way. If it targeted Saving Throws, such as her Sacred flame, the enemy would Succeed on a roll below the DC, and Fail on a roll above the DC. This was particularly odd when an enemy rolled a Natural 2, with a +2 Dex save and Saved against her Sacred Flame.

• Channel Divinity: Turn Undead displayed a similar problem, when my cleric with a Save DC of 16 used his Channel Divinity to Turn a few Zombies/Wights, they all Succeeded on rolls of 15 or lower, essentially wasting the cleric’s Action for the turn.

After a bit of time I’ve remembered a third issue, Feats:

• When I took the feat that increased Constitution by one and increases HP per level (I believe it’s called Enduring Body), my Rogue with 11 Constitution still had 11 Constitution and no extra hitpoints.

• My Ranger took the Sylvan Archer Feat, which is supposed to ignore Cover Bonuses, but at least a few times after picking up the feat, the enemy had a Cover Bonus against his attacks.

Another topic that perhaps I just don’t understand quite well is magical weapon damage. When I found a shortbow+1, it still dealt half damage to resistant enemies, and when I found +1 arrows, it still dealt half damage to resistant enemies. I was under the impression that either of those things should overcome Resistance to non-magical damage. I know that it can be overcome by melee weapons at least, as my Paladin cast Magic Weapon on her Greatsword and dealt full damage. Am I just not understanding the nuance of ranged combat or is this a bug as well?

Double-clicking on a character to jump to the said character while the party is split causes the game to freeze on a black screen with no UI instead of moving to the character. Moving with ASWD does seem to fix this, however.

I got this error. Party were not even split I don't think. I double clicked on the portrait and found no way of getting out of the black screen (game cursor remained on screen). I had to end the application and reload from the last save

I looted a wand of lightning and it can not be attuned by anyone during a short rest.  The attuning of a ring of protection does not seem to change AC.

A few minor issues, but some more pressing ones for me

- Is dual wielding working correctly? I have a rogue with a rapier and off-hand dagger - I have never seen the dagger make a an attack roll, even though both are equipped. I think this may be a bonus action, but it doesn't show up under the bonus action menu either (unless I'm not seeing it for some reason). 


rapier  is not "light" weapon, try to use short sword or another light weapon.

Yes - I figured that out later - in every other versionof D&D/PF a rapier is considered a light weapon,so I assumed it was here too. I looked it up and then uses 2 short swords....

I am in the library and there are some elements that sort of glitch out/become invisible and I can’t interact with them without making sure(via twitching the camera around) that all parts are visible. There was a chest on a tower top with like a book pedestal and some decorative stuff and I was finally able to open that, but there is a knock over-able bridge thing that I can’t get to be both visible and unobstructed by foreground objects in order to click it. There may be more things I’m unable to see(can’t find the first time circle, but may be just missing it).

It seems that flanking (or gettng advantage from it)  isn't default 5E, but an optional rule.

I have encountered the bug where, post-cutscene, the camera is trapped in a wall/in some part of the environment and I cannot move it.  What is the best way to remedy this?  Reloading the save?  Restarting the game?


I have noticed that pressing tab re-centres the camera on my party member. Does this work for you?

I have noticed that pressing tab re-centres the camera on my party member. Does this work for you?

in one of the tips, during the loading screen, it says that tab centres the camera on the party members, as well as double-clicking a character's portrait will centre the camera on that character.

Hello,

I would like to report a problem in Solasta. I just finished the tutorial and the cutscene with Lord Carran but when the loading screen started it kept on going without ending. My PC specs are reasonably high so I do not think my PC is the problem. Thank you & I am looking forward towards playing the rest of Solasta.

Monitor Resolution will not STICK. 

I am playing on the following rig and when I change resolution to 1440 at 144hz it doesn't' change when I hit apply. Goes back to 1080 at 60hz. I have two monitors attached and active and playing game in exclusive Full Screen, regular full screen. Niether works. 

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz (12 CPUs), ~3.2GHz

Memory: 16384MB RAM

 NVIDIA - Chip type: GeForce RTX 2060

Hi team, 


I found a few bugs when playing: 

1- When you enter in stealth mode and start a combat in an area that will have an animation (cutscenes/dialogs) and win the combat, the cutscene will start and will bring all defeated enemies. that happened with me twice in the castle mission in 2 different locations. 

2- Sometimes looting items 1 by 1 makes an item disappear from the possible loot list. for example if you have 5 items to loot, and pick items 1, 2 and tree, when you click on item 4, item 5 will disappear from the list.

3- When one of your players died after a fail death saving through, game is over. even if one of my team member has a revivify scroll ( which can be used until 1 minute after character died. 


Thanks!!! The game is very good and there are only a few things to fix nice work! We know that game development is challenging :)

I don't know if the sticky post has already covered it, but I see several NPCs in the Capital City clip through objects, furniture, even the ground.


A hoopy frood who really knows where his towel is.
