Druids of Solasta

I'm really enjoying the game so far. Even with the reduced number of classes from typical D&D and the smaller list of spells it's a great game that I can't get enough of. That said, I think the game will really benefit from eventually adding the Druid class to its list, as well as, the Half-Orc race and a more Outlander/Tribesman background. Obviously, this would be a post-launch addition, but it's one I'd happily pay for.

Mechanically, we already have the Greenmage subclass for Wizards which adds druid spells to the game, but I think the toughest challenge to adding the class will likely come from the Wild Shape ability. How beast forms mess with models, cutscenes, etc. Still I hope we get this class one day. It'd be nice to have another full-caster healer option, and also a way to turn into some of Solasta's unique beasties.

It'd be cool to play a Circle of the Badlands Druid or have a subclass that reflects the mana drain that occurred after the Rift was closed. Maybe the capstone of this subclass could be to turn into those massive beetles that there has been concept art for.

As mentioned, I also think the game could do with the Half-Orc race and a more Wilderness-y background. Since the Badlands are such a big part of the story, I think it makes sense to have backgrounds for characters who might have grown up near or within them. And Orcs are already on Solasta, so it makes sense for Half-Orcs to be playable. We almost got them over Half-Elves, it'd be nice to get them too.

I'd love to hear others' thoughts. Maybe you have ideas about druids in Solasta, how they'd fit the lore or what some lore-friendly subclasses could be.

Good thought. But it is tedious job to add new race and and class. I don't think it can be done even after a successful full release. 

Instead of new race/class I like to see more character customization options, animations, visual improvements to character models , some new sub-class and backgrounds
